# Zendesk Incremental API retirement: no action needed

> Zendesk is ending third-party access to its Incremental APIs from December 2, 2026. Decimal's Zendesk sync no longer uses them.

Zendesk is [retiring its Incremental APIs](https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/11249701485338-Announcing-end-of-availability-of-Incremental-APIs-for-third-party-developers) for third-party apps from December 2, 2026. Decimal no longer uses them. Ticket sync now uses the standard Tickets API under the tickets:read scope you already granted. Existing connections are unaffected. Nothing to reconnect or re-approve.
