Logs integration

## Built into your support workflow

### Find the relevant log group

Query CloudWatch Log Groups for entries related to the issue.

### Narrow the investigation

Filter by time range, service, and error patterns.

### Connect logs to the question

Interpret log evidence alongside the customer’s ticket.

## Find the failure in AWS logs.

### “Why did our upload fail this morning?”

Decimal uses the customer’s report to narrow the time range and service in CloudWatch Logs. Relevant entries help the investigation explain the failed upload.

## Connect your workspace

1. Select CloudWatch Logs in Settings → Integrations.
2. Enter an AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
3. Choose the AWS region containing your logs, then connect.

## Access and permissions

Use AWS credentials with read-only access to the CloudWatch Logs needed for support.

## Connection details

The selected AWS region determines which logs the connection can query.
